April 5th, 1997 to January 8th, 2008

'NICC' had a wonderful career, he was and is our founding Sire for Tsankawi, and his children are making great strides to carry on his quality for future generations. Nicc had to leave us in January 2008, we will always love him and miss him dearly. We will always be blessed to have been able to spend the years we had with Nicc and ever so proud of all his accomplishments in Conformation, Agility, and as our best friend. May his legacy be that of his many children and grand children and their contributions to the Finnish Spitz breed. We will be waiting to see you again at the Bridge my love.

Nicc has produced winning Champions, and his son Ivan is a Muli Group winner, ranked in the top 5, having won an AOM at the AKC 2006 Invitational, all before the age of 2 years. Ivan was awarded 2007 BOB at Westminster Kennel Club, and won BOB at the AKC Eukanuba Invitational in December 2007. His Daughter, Rutti, bred by Joan Grant of Jayenn Kennels, is the first imported Finnish Spitz from Canada to Finland, has completed her show Championship and is working on her hunting title. Son Captain is producing wonderful offspring that are excelling in the show ring with their consistency and quality.
